The weather pattern early this week will be influenced by a stationary frontal system across southern Virginia. Areas of low pressure will move along the boundary and will bring showers to the region, but more particularly across central and southeastern Virginia as well as southern Maryland and the lower Eastern Shore. Later in the week, the front will be further suppressed to the south due to high pressure over New England that will reinforce unseasonably mild air over the Middle Atlantic region with highs only in the mid to upper 70s by Friday and Saturday.
