Today's weather is an early autumn preview as morning lows dipped into the mid and upper 50s (54F recorded at Baltimore-Washington International Airport) with current mid-afternoon thermometer readings in the mid to upper 70s. High pressure will continue to influence our weather tonight with a clear sky and temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Sunshine is expected on Saturday, but the center of the high will begin to nudge eastward. This will result in a slight uptick in the mercury with afternoon readings in the lower to middle 80s. A more southerly flow will impact the area on Sunday with clouds and sun. However, humidity will increase and there is a chance of an afternoon shower or thundershower. Low pressure from the Midwest and a cold front will impact the Middle Atlantic region on Monday with widespread showers and thunderstorms.
