Brian's exclusive forecast for Washington DC:
This afternoon: Becoming mostly sunny and warm with a high in the lower 80s.
Tonight: Mostly clear and pleasant with a low in the lower 60s.
Thursday: Clouds and sun with a brief shower possible. The high will be in the lower 80s.
Thursday Night: Clear and comfortable with a low in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Friday: Sunny and seasonably warm with a high in the lower to middle 80s.
The extended outlook calls for mostly sunny and warm conditions on Saturday and Sunday with lows in the lower 60s and highs in the lower to middle 80s.
After a soaking rain yesterday that produced 3 to 6 inches of rain the Baltimore and Washington areas, today's weather was a welcome change with plenty of warm sunshine and temperatures in the lower 80s. Humidity was lower today, but a reinforcing push of cool air will move through the area on Thursday as a weak cold front moves across the area during the afternoon. Behind the front, high pressure will build over the area. Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s at many locations (except lower 60s in downtown areas) by Friday morning with highs on Friday only in the upper 70s (lower 80s in downtown areas.) High pressure will ensure the continuation of sunny and seasonably warm weather over the upcoming weekend.
