Weather Summary

After a windy and warm Saturday during which temperatures reach the mid 70s in central Maryland, cooler weather is on the way. A cold front will move to our east overnight. Clouds and rain showers associated with the frontal passage will give way to a clearing sky toward morning. Cooler and drier air behind the front will overspread the region tonight and early Sunday with morning lows in the upper 40s to near 50. Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine, but temperatures will run about 10 degrees cooler than today with highs in the mid 60s. After a sunny and pleasant day on Monday, another area of low pressure will impact the region with widespread rain showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Much cooler temperatures will accompany the rain with highs only in the 50s each day.
