Sunny on Thursday with a low in the upper 30s to lower 40s and a high in the mid 60s. Clouds and sun with scattered showers on Friday with a low in the upper 40s and a high in the upper 60s. High pressure over New England provided the Middle Atlantic states with a sunny, breezy, and pleasant day on Sunday with highs in the 60s. A pressure gradient between high pressure to our north and an area of low pressure to our southeast has caused some breezy conditions today. The high will allow for temperatures to fall back into the upper 30s to mid 40s by Monday morning, but the High will lose its influence by Monday night as it nudges eastward into the Atlantic and the Low to our southeast will continue to move out to sea. This will result in a mostly sunny and pleasant day on Monday with highs once again in the 60s. Meanwhile, a cold front is expected to move from west to east across the region on Tuesday and produce more cloudiness along with a chance of a few rain showers. As the front clears the area on Wednesday, sunshine will return with seasonable temperatures. Lows will be in the 40s and highs will be in the 60s on Wednesday through Friday of the coming week. Rain showers may move back into the region by Friday afternoon.
