Brian's exclusive forecast for Washington DC:
Tonight: Scattered rain showers with a low around 50.
Thursday: Occasional rain showers with a high in the upper 50s.
Thursday Night: Occasional rain showers with a low around 50.
Friday: Occasional rain showers with a high in the upper 60s.
The extended forecast calls for clouds and sun on Saturday with a low in the upper 40s and a high in the upper 50s. Mostly sunny on Sunday with a low in the mid 40s and a high in the upper 50s. A chance of showers on Monday with a low in the upper 40s and a high in the mid 50s. Clouds and sun on Tuesday with a low in the mid 40s and a high in the upper 50s.
A cold front will become stalled over the Middle Atlantic region overnight. This will result in variable cloudiness over the area with a slight chance of an evening rain shower. A wave of low pressure is expected to move along the front Thursday and Thursday night with additional, more widespread rain showers. Cloudiness and scattered showers will persist through Friday morning before the front lifts north as a warm front. Once the warm front moves to our north, warmer air will overspread the area with highs in the 60s to near 70 on Friday. Meanwhile, another front will approach the area from the west on Friday and produce additional rain showers. This front will push to our south and east on Saturday and Sunday, resulting in more sunshine and seasonal temperatures in the upper 50s (although about ten degrees cooler than Friday's highs.) Looking ahead, another area of low pressure may impact the region with rain by Monday.
