Weather Summary

High pressure centered over New England will influence our weather in Washington and Baltimore during the overnight hours. With a clear sky and light winds, thermometer readings will fall back into the mid and upper 40s by morning. The High will move offshore on Saturday. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure will impact the southeast states with clouds and rainfall over the weekend. At this time, the low is expected to stay far enough to our south to keep precipitation confined to North Carolina and points south. Another area of high pressure will build over the region on Saturday night and Sunday. As this high moves offshore on Sunday, a southerly flow around the center of the high will enable highs to reach the upper 60s. After a mostly sunny day on Monday, clouds and rain moves into the region on Tuesday as a cold front approaches the area from the west.
