Weather Summary

Weak high pressure will continue to influence our weather overnight and early Friday. With a clear sky and near-calm winds, temperatures will drop into the mid 30s to lower 40s by morning. The area of high pressure will begin to weaken during the day on Friday, and clouds will overspread the region during the afternoon hours as a cold front approaches from the west. An isolated rain shower is possible, but most locations will remain dry through the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will begin to moderate on Friday as a southerly flow develops ahead of the front. High pressure will once again build over the Middle Atlantic region on Saturday and Sunday with seasonable temperatures. Lows each morning will be in the 40s and highs each day will reach the mid to upper 60s. Looking ahead to next week, a weak system will likely bring more clouds and rain showers to the area on Monday and Tuesday.
