High pressure continues to dominate the weather map in the Middle Atlantic states. Both Friday and Saturday featured plenty of bright sunshine, blue skies, and warm temperatures along with comfortable levels of humidity. The center of high pressure will begin to move to our east on Sunday. This will result in a more southerly, and more humid, flow of air. The sky will be mostly sunny on Sunday with temperatures a few degrees warmer today as highs climb into the mid 80s. Meanwhile, low pressure will move across Pennsylvania on Sunday night and Monday. A cold front trailing the low will move from west to east across Baltimore and Washington, but will slow its pace on Monday and Tuesday. This will result in unsettled weather both days. Although we will see some sunshine on Monday and Tuesday, there is a good chance of showers and thundershowers from time to time.
