Washington D.C. shooting

At midnight On March 11, 2013, thirteen people were exposed to injuries due to a drive-by shooting in Washington D.C. away from the corner of an apartment complex that was reported by Associated Press. People were walking outside the apartment building, and suddenly two speeding cars passed quickly beside them, and then shots were fired in everyone walking by.

Metropolitan police official, Chief Cathy Lanier released that one of the victims was injured severely, because the shot was in his back; however, others were shot in their extremities. It is believed that none of them have life-threatening injuries.

The police department is searching for two cars; one of them is a dark BMW and the other is a light-colored sedan that appeared in the surveillance camera.

Some peoples said that these recurrent violent crimes that terrify innocent people and disturb their peace warrant punishment and immediate changes in gun control policies and procedures to stop the recurrence of these terrible crimes.
