Washington County seeks input on Aloha-Reedville plan

Washington County has a lot of acreage that is not incorporated into a city or town. Aloha is one such unincorporated area, given its name just over 100 years ago when the post office was set up. The county has set up a website to allow residents an opportunity to provide input onto a revamp of the Aloha-Reedville area. The Aloha-Reedville Study and Livable Community Plan will gather three years of information on land use, community wishes, transportation, and other livability factors.

The commission has posted comments on the website that have been received through November 2012, but the county is still soliciting comments. The site has both a Public Comment Map and an Online Survey link. If you wish to add your comments to the discussion, click here and fill in the comments page, or plan to attend a Citizen Advisory and Technical Advisory Committee meeting.

The county plans to make public input a part of the complete process.
