Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards seemed to be on the verge of a reconciliation early last month after he split with his girlfriend of a year-and-a-half, Dalis Connell. Although they did hang out, things clearly took a different turn and Maci ended up starting a new relationship with her now boyfriend Taylor. And now, new details about what Ryan was allegedly really after are coming out.
"Ryan doesn't like Maci in a romantic way. They got together because he wanted to get back at his ex," an insider tells Us Weekly in a January 14th report. "He [wanted] to make Dalis miserable by making it seem like he and Maci [were] a couple."And he wasn't the only one trying to make someone jealous. As it turns out, Dalis seemed to be doing the exact same thing when she struck up a brief relationship with Maci's ex-boyfriend, Kyle King.
"Ryan told her he still had feelings for her. And she has never stopped loving him... [She] always wondered 'What if?' with Ryan," a source close to Maci explains. "She said the time was right." The time may have been right, but something went wrong, and if these reports regarding Ryan's true feelings are correct, it's a good thing. It would be a real shame to see Maci get hurt by Ryan again.
Plus, Maci and her boyfriend Taylor seem to have a good thing going, so having Ryan around would just add unnecessary confusion.
