Stepping away from her usually risqué attire, Rihanna looked absolutely stunning in a crimson chiffon Azzedine Alaia gown, as she walked the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10.
The Bajun beauty’s switch up in attire is enough to get people talking, but it wasn’t that stunning gown that had fans blowing up Twitter. Surreptitiously placed upon Rihanna’s finger was a simple, yet elegant, diamond ring.
Rihanna fans couldn’t seem to stop chatting about the ring. With tweets like, “Did #Rihanna have a wedding ring on her left ring finger?,” and “Is that an engagement ring on Rihanna?,” Twitter fans simply couldn’t stop speculating. Of course, the Twitter storm has left speculation across the board.
Throughout the awards ceremony, Rihanna and Chris Brown, seated front row, were spotted snuggling up. Under other circumstances the sweetly cozied up couple may have been cause for celebration. But who can forget that brutal beating? Perhaps the ring was a message of solidarity with her man, as it was Grammy night just four years ago that Chris Brown beat Rihanna to a pulp.
