Was Phil Robertson Set Up to Hang On A Cross For His Christian Beliefs?

See also

Just pause for a moment and ask yourself one important question. Do you believe in your heart that your Christian faith should be compromised or suspended because others do not agree with you? What about if you happen to be generating over $400 million dollars for your network benefactor or mega-billion dollar Wal-Mart? The answer is simple or at least it would seem to be if you are a Christian leader in your church or in your family. No!!!

That is exactly what Phil Robertson has given his characteristic devout stand the fuel that ignites others of faith to stand with him. It is also a nearly crystal clear reason why the war on his Christian beliefs began to simmer to the top of the darkened A&E kettle several weeks earlier, according to the Ulsterman Report.

It appears that behind the scenes the A&E network executives loved the hundreds of millions of dollars that cha-ching into their coffers due to Duck Dynasty’s cable shattering viewer numbers. What they apparently did not take a shining to was how Phil Robertson and his family kin held to their Christian beliefs and showcased them even at the dinner table which showed them engage in prayer.

The question one has to wonder is exactly who did A&E feel they were getting when they signed the Duck Commander and family to star on their network. Perhaps they felt that Phil Robertson and family would take the money and just give a few duck calls and be happy.

But life and Christianity seem to get in the way of the best laid plans of A&E. Phil, who is a self described “Bible Thumper,” seemed to follow a different calling, which also happened to go hand-in-hand with the teachings from the bible. That is a definite no-no in the age of Obama, and according to the Ulsterman Report, “A&E is telling reporters they warned Phil to “tone down” his religious themed commentary in recent months. It appears Phil was unwilling to do so.”

But the intrigue behind the possible set up of the Duck Commander becomes even seamier due to one of the Robertson family members, who asserts that a representative from A&E was at the GQ interview, said the Ulsterman Report. This A&E representative could have easily set parameters on discussion items. Therefore the outrage shown by A&E is false, fake, and totally disingenuous. It appears the fix was in to send the religious Duck Commander packing.

So as the fake controversy was set into play seemingly by A&E, the devoted Christian elder of his church continued to work there during those days of national eruption. The Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ which is the family’s spiritual gathering place is 100 percent behind them as are millions of supporters across the nation.

In this season of celebration of the wonderful birth of Jesus Christ and the subsequent launching of Christianity there stands Phil Robertson, a man of faith who will not kneel. A&E and especially those executives that may have tried to engineer Duck Dynasty’s leader to yield and submit to “Rome” actually unleashed Christian fury.
