During the fourth season of MTV's 16 & Pregnant, fans fell in love with Mackenzie Douthit -- the All-American blonde haired, blue eyed beauty from the south, who had gotten pregnant with her longtime boyfriend Josh McKee. But while fans had assumed that it was the first pregnancy for Mackenzie, a new report claims otherwise.
In a February 3rd report by The Ashleys Reality Roundup, Ashley gets to the bottom of Mackenzie's story and gives fans a sneak peek of what they'll be seeing on the upcoming series Teen Mom 3. "The pregnancy shown on MTV was actually Mackenzie’s second pregnancy by age 16, not her first," the site reveals. "In 2010 she was pregnant with another baby, a boy she and her now-fiance Josh planned to name Oakley. Mackenzie carried the baby but had a tragic late-term miscarriage."
Mackenzie has never directly addressed the tragic loss, but recently, she hinted at it on her Facebook page. The fact that she has never actually spoken of it and that it wasn't a factor on her episode of 16 & Pregnant seems to be a big hint that it will be a story line on Teen Mom 3 so fans might soon get to hear about the unfortunate turn of events from Mackenzie herself.
Mackenzie and Josh McKee are currently still living in their hometown of Miami, Oklahoma, but are set to move to San Diego, California in a few months. But first they are getting married which is also something that will possibly be shown on the upcoming series.
Teen Mom 3 is set to debut later this year on MTV.
