Was Bullock's son a luck charm for Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl?

Could the Baltimore Ravens have won the Super Bowl XLVII because Sandra Bullock’s 3-year-old son, Louis, was in the stands? He was wearing a jersey boasting lucky number 3 during the game, just as he had done through all of the playoffs.

Leigh Ann Tuohy, Bullock’s inspiration for the film, “The Blind Side” tells People magazine that she believes it may have been the case. “The Blind Side” was the story of the Tuohy family and Michael Oher, their adopted son who overcame obstacles to create tremendous strides in his football career.

During the blackout, it seemed Louis was interested in the finger lights that were passed through the stands instead of the game but that didn’t matter to Tuohy.

Tuohy and Bullock ensured they had no photographs taken or television cameras around them to avoid diversion from the player’s big day. Tuohy’s adopted son, Michael Oher was about to become a winner of the Super Bowl and achieve something huge in his life.

It wasn’t about us. Sandy and I knew that. It was about celebrating a young man who worked tremendously hard for the last 11 years to overcome every kind of adverse situation – and Sunday he achieved his dream. We’re still giddy. We really are.
