Was a miraculous creation necessary?

Miracles are not events which appear to be supernatural. The reason for that statement is because many think that, because something happens that was unexpected and unexplained. Such as a person being told by reputable doctors that someone is dying and yet, the person recovers far better than anyone imagined. That is not a miracle. That is a recovery wherein the doctors were mistaken. They might never find the causative factor for the recovery, but it was natural. Miracles are things which indeed circumvent our natural laws.

Naturalists, atheists, evolutionists, and such, profess that there is nothing that can transcend natural laws. And at this time, since approximately 100 AD, there has been no such thing. And the scriptures tell us that plainly. But it will not always be so. At the end of time, when this earth and the universe is totally destroyed, the cause will likely be by miraculous means. And after it is destroyed, assuredly all things will be miraculous...that is, absence from any of our present natural laws.

Scientists know full well, that something cannot be made from nothing, yet those who promulgate evolution, not only of living creatures but the universe itself, try and finagle some mysterious singularity which could appear from nothing. If it did, that is circumvention of our natural laws. But they prefer to call that scientific. It simply did not happen. How anyone, regardless of his position, could possibly accept that this unimaginable universe could be created by a wrinkle of nothing, the size of a pencil dot, would have to be considered insane! These brilliant men have to know they are misleading the public. And they still have not determined how that dot was created.

The fact is, this universe was formed by miraculous means, and it was not via an imaginary singularity. It was created in six 24 hour days by the spoken command of an all powerful God who has revealed himself to man through His inspired word. That is miraculous means, circumvention of our natural laws. True, God could have performed the insane method described above, but He didn't. He has told us how and when he created the universe and has furnished enough truthful facts to prove His word is inerrant.

Many who profess to be Christians, attempt to believe the science fiction fairy tale mentioned above, but still accept God and His Holy Word. You simply cannot reconcile the two. They are diametrically opposed. The first sentence in Genesis is: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Now if you try and say that you see no reason God could not have done it in the manner the evolutionists propose, you are not only denying that He did it in 6 days, but you are saying that it was created by accident when nothing became something, naturally. That is their doctrine so if you accept it you may as well say that God really had no hand in it. If the evolutionists had a sensible theory, then some might feel compelled to accept it, but their fairy tale (itself created by a science fiction writer) should fool no one.

Miracles are used throughout the Bible as evidence that God exists, that Jesus' claims were true, and that apostles and prophets were sent by God. This, in turn, constitutes proof that the Bible is the word of God. This explains why unbelievers, atheists, agnostics, liberals, modernists, skeptics, and believers in evolution continually deny or undermine Bible accounts of miracles. It likewise shows why true believers must recognize and defend Biblical miracles.

Nevertheless, in order to accept theories of science, some professing believers compromise the Genesis account of creation by saying it is symbolic, legend, or myth, not necessarily literal history or fact. Some say the days of creation are not literal days but were actually long ages. Such views (whether intentionally or not) have the effect of undermining Biblical faith and weakening the force of creation as evidence for God, Jesus, and the Bible. The psalmist David assures us that God does accomplish wondrous things (Psalm 72:18-20).

If we say that the record of creation in Genesis is symbolic, or simply wrong, we are accepting error in the holy scriptures. If this portion can be discounted, then the entire Bible is the figment of men's imagination, of no value to man and nullifies the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, so that we might be made sin free. Surely there are portions of the Bible which are symbolic, but they are so for a purpose and not to justify man's fantasy. Read the following scriptures:

"O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest." (Psalm 95:1-11 KJV)

"To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding." (Isaiah 40:25-28 KJV)

"Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee." (Nehemiah 9:6 KJV)

Remember that these things were written by different men, different locations and different times. Yet they all give God the credit and the glory for His creation. The Bible is filled by writings from some 40 authors and yet there are no errors, no contradictions. The book is massive and has had thousands of men attempt to disprove one small thing in its pages. If one untruth could be proven beyond any doubt, the entire book would become worthless. God knows all things that can be known...he created them so he has to know them. No error has yet been proven.

Take any 20 evolutionists who are not known by the others, have them write a 50 page thesis on the creation without contacting any of the others or knowing who they are. You will find discrepancies throughout them all, a number of contradictions and disagreements with the others. And to say that 40 writers over a period of hundreds of years and in different countries could compose the 66 books of the Holy Bible without contradicting each other once, and without writing a single thing which can be proven wrong. Something should be evident when you compare these situations. And it should be even to them and to every atheist, skeptic, Gnostic or agnostic. May God have mercy upon them for they know not what they do.
