"I thought is was important for the new guys to come here and get a feel for it," said head coach Mark Jackson.
"Feels good to be back here," second-year forward Harrison Barnes tweeted upon arrival.
The players were unevenly split into two squads for scrimmages, one in white jerseys and the other in blue.
Barnes and Mo Speights joined the likely starters - Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Andre Iguodala, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson - on the white team while the backups and camp invitees donned blue.
No bloody noses today like Kent Bazemore suffered on Tuesday running through a pick.
Forward Joe Alexander (left leg tibial stress reaction) was the only non participant among the 18-man training camp roster.
Jackson said the team would not be practicing at Oracle again prior to their first preseason home game against the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 7.
The Warriors have a morning practice tomorrow then head south to Ontario some 35 miles east of Los Angeles where the face the Lakers in their preseason opener on Saturday.
