The Golden State Warriors (0-1) lost Saturday's exhibition game 104-95 to the Los Angeles Lakers (1-0) at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, but more importantly nothing freakish happened.

[Box score]

Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala, and Stephen Curry started against a Lakers lineup minus Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Steve Nash.

Barnes played 29 minutes while the rest of the starters were held to 21 minutes or less.

Klay Thompson led Golden State with 26 points off the bench, but Lee and Curry combined for just 5-for-14 shooting.

The Warriors defense was also poor and they committed 31 fouls and 23 turnovers, but yes it's only preseason.

One highlight came in the first quarter on a transition pass from Barnes to Curry who threw it down for a rare dunk.

Meanwhile Xavier Henry led all scorers with 29 points off the Lakers bench including a buzzer beater from beyond half court to end the first half.

Despite the loss there were several positives for the Warriors.

Thompson looked very comfortable in the Jarrett Jack sixth-man role and wasn't hesitant to penetrate.

Bogut is healthy and turned in a solid game of seven points, 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 17 minutes while Iguodala was also efficient in his 21 minutes shooting 6-of-7 for 15 points, three rebounds, two steals, and one assist.

And again everyone came away healthy. These are just tuneup games.

Meanwhile head coach Mark Jackson played 15 of his 18 players - forward Joe Alexander (left leg tibial stress reaction), center Ognjen Kuzmic (sprained left ankle), and center Festus Ezeli (knee surgery) did not play.

The Warriors return to Oakland to face the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 7.
