Following Thursday night's 90-74 home loss to the Portland Trailblazers in the preseason finale, the Golden State Warriors waived camp invitees forward Joe Alexander, guard Seth Curry and center Dewayne Dedmon, the team announced today.
All three are expected to end up with the Santa Cruz Warriors - Golden State's D-League squad.
Alexander, 26, was signed as a free agent on September 27 and did not appear in a preseason game due to a tibial stress reaction in his left leg.
He was picked eighth overall pick by Milwaukee in the 2008 draft and has since appeared in 67 regular-season games with the Bucks and Bulls.
Curry, 23, was signed as a free agent on August 22. He appeared in six preseason contests and averaged 2.2 points and 1.0 assist in 7.2 minutes.
The Duke alum is well-known as Dell's son and Steph's younger brother.
Dedmon, 24, was signed as a free agent on September 23 and appeared in five preseason games, averaging 3.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.00 blocks in 10.3 minutes.
The USC product began playing basketball at 18.
Today's move gives the Warriors one roster spot to fill prior to Opening Night on Oct. 30.
The Warriors roster currently stands at 14 players.
