Jackson seemed pleased with today's scrimmages saying "You know sign of good team is when the second unit or the teams are balanced going after it competing. We split them up pretty evenly and its been helpful."
None of the players seemed bothered by the two-a-day practices mainly because the team has been voluntarily working out at the teams practice facility since early September.
"Everybody was here the last there weeks we're able to keep that intensity from practice to practice," said Stephen Curry. "That's the biggest thing so you don't have any drop off. So we make the most of each session we're on the court."
Andre Iguodala is focusing on getting his well-known defense in top shape. "Looking to make all the mistakes now," Iguodala said. "I usually get all of my mistakes out of the way now to see how I can mix up my coverages."
Jackson hasn't said much about the starting five and bench rotation, but Klay Thompson said "If I have to come off of the bench or start, I’ll just be happy to get minutes. There are great scorers who come off of the bench."
Meanwhile training-camp invitee Joe Alexander has a tibial stress reaction in his left leg and did not practice. He's wearing a protective boot.
Second-year center Festus Ezeli is also not practicing as he rehabs from right knee surgery.
Center Ognjen Kuzmic was limited in practice due to a sprained ankle.
First-round pick guard Nemanja Nedovic is not with the team as he's still trying to secure his travel visa from Serbia.
Day 3 of training camp begins tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
