Officials in Warren and Montgomery County, Ohio are on the hunt for a prisoner who failed to return from a funeral furlough. Shermon Edmonds, 53, was in the Warren County jail in Lebanon, Ohio, charged with Grand Theft. He was granted an emergency furlough so that he could attend a funeral. His last known address is on Catalpa Drive in Dayton's northwest side. Officials in Dayton have been checking that address. He is 5'11" and about 205 pounds. If you know the whereabouts of Edmonds, or see him, you are asked to call 9-1-1. When located, he will now be charged with Felony Escape.
