Warren County Democratic Committee endorses Jack Wagner for Governor

February 25, 2010, the Warren County Democratic Committee announced their endorsement of Auditor General Jack Wagner for Governor.

We recognize Jack's contributions as Auditor General and previously as State Senator to the citizens of Pennsylvania and all political parties said Bernard Hessley, Chair of the Warren County Democratic Committee. We are confident that he will continue to put the Commonwealth's priorities ahead of partisan expediency. Jack represents what is honorable conduct by a public servant.

Wagner said that he was honored by the endorsement and excited by the momentum his campaign continues to build. I look forward to working with Bernard and other local leaders on the important issues facing Pennsylvania in the months and years ahead.

Twice elected Auditor General with bipartisan support Wagner received record-breaking vote totals in his re-election in 2008.

In addition Wagner was the top vote-getter at the Democratic State Committee's endorsement meeting earning more than 50% of the vote and twice the total of his nearest opponent. He earned the majority votes in 43 county caucuses including Chester County.
