Warren Buffet Takes Over the Prudential Name in Las Vegas

The name Prudential Americana Group Realtors is no more in Las Vegas. This week, the company officially joined the network operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices - Nevada Properties and Prudential Arizona Properties is now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices - Arizona Properties.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a new real estate brokerage built by Warren Buffet for the new era in real estate. Berkshire Hathaway now accounts for nearly 28,000 agents and 750 offices in 37 states and the list is growing monthly.

Mark Stark, the CEO of Americana Holdings which owns and operates the Nevada and Arizona brokerages, considers Berkshire Hathaway Home Services an ideal fit as the brand is built on the core values of trust, integrity, stability and longevity. With the transition, agents gain access to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices' robust technology platform, ongoing business consultation, professional education, marketing support and the Luxury Collection program that adds marketing clout to high-end listings. "New technology and resources now available to us will help extend the reach and efficiency of our agents," says Gordon Miles, Americana Holdings president. "This means even better service for our home-buying and selling clients."

Earl Lee, the CEO of HSF Affiliates, applauds the brokerages' transition to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. "Combined, Americana Holdings companies represented the No. 3 company in the entire Prudential Real Estate network in 2013, and we're proud they're representing Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices."

HomeServices of America, Inc. is the nation's second-largest, full-service residential brokerage in the United States and is an affiliate of the world-renowned Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.
