According to the arrest warrant, Joshua Joseph Aaron Daugherty sexually assaulted a young 9 to 10-year-old girl, starting around April 1, 2010, until April 30, 2013.

On May 6, the Cobb County Magistrate Court issued the arrest warrant for Daugherty. He is charged with a felony count of child molestation (OCGA16-6-4(a)) and a felony count of aggravated sexual battery (OCGA16-6-22.2). On the day the warrant was issued, Daugherty was arrested at his home off of Windy Hill Road. He remains in Cobb County jail with no bond.

An official court date hasn't been announced yet. However, Daugherty may face up to 20 years in prison or more if convicted. Check back with Examiner for additional updates on the story.
