The wall raising ceremony for the 50th home built by Houston County Habitat for Humanity will take place this Saturday, July 26 at 11am at 215 Greenway Dr. in Warner Robins. Sylvia Moore of EXIT Success Realty will be one of the featured speakers at the event. Moore recently participated in Habitat’s Women Build program and will speak on behalf of their sponsors. Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms will also be addressing those in attendance.

This Saturday is a huge landmark for Habitat for Humanity. It is the 50th time they have rallied the community to build a home for a deserving family in the Warner Robins area. EXIT Success Realty agents, brokers and members of the community will converge on Warner Robins to help another Habitat for Humanity family as they invested sweat equity in their new home.

"A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is pledged to its charity of choice," says Ethan Hutten, Managing Broker of EXIT Success Realty. "To date, EXIT Realty has pledged over $2 Million to Habitat for Humanity in both Canada and the US."

Sylvia Moore, Sales Manager at EXIT Success Realty, says, “As a sales manager and property manager, I am routinely interacting with families who cannot afford to live in a home. That is why I was attracted to Habitat for Humanity. An incredible organization that works hard to help families achieve the dream of home ownership.

According to Houston County Habitat for Humanity…

“HoCo Habitat was formed out of First United Methodist Church in 1991 by a compassionate group of people who saw a need for affordable housing in our county. The first HoCo Habitat house was built on a leap of faith before the local affiliate even received official approval from Habitat International to become a Habitat affiliate.

Almost 23 years later, HoCo Habitat has partnered with 49 hard-working families and built homes for those families, serving a total of 70 adults and 106 children. And today, we will be raising the walls to the 50th HoCo Habitat home – the 39th home in Warner Robins – which will belong to Nannetta Tennyson.”

Habitat for Humanity provides affordable housing options through the support and contributions of local businesses and residents.

"I wanted to select a charity that was close to real estate and where you could see it helping people," says Steve Morris, Chairman of EXIT Realty Corp. International.
