If you love spectacular documentaries about hidden worlds, you will love “Island of Lemurs: Madagascar,” now playing at Tropicana’s IMAX Theatre. This amazing film highlights the wondrous world of lemurs and their only habitat, the island of Madagascar. It’s narrated by Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman and the only place you can see it in the Philadelphia area is at Tropicana.
“Island of Lemurs: Madagascar” teams Morgan Freeman with Drew Fellman, who also wrote and produced the 2011 IMAX 3D documentary “Born to Be Wild 3D.” The director is David Douglas and features lemur/wildlife expert scientist Patricia Wright.
The IMAX release of “Island of Lemurs: Madagascar” will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX’s customized theater geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the world of the movie.
This movie will literally take your breath away in IMAX! The IMAX Theatre at Tropicana is the region’s only official Certified Giant Screen Theater with a bigger, bolder, better viewing experience.
