Warmer weather into the workweek for the Clarksville area

A weak system will begin to move into the Clarksville area during the day today bringing an increase in clouds with a few rain showers. Temperatures will increase as well as highs today will be upper forties. As this system moves through, a gusty south wind will bring more warm air into the region bringing high temperatures into the sixties Monday. The next system will move through the region overnight Tuesday bringing a round of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms may become strong to severe with strong, gusty winds as the main concern. The temperatures will be lower seventies during the day Tuesday, falling into the upper twenties for lows overnight Wednesday. Looking to the rest of workweek, temperatures will fall back below normal with high temperatures in the lower to middle thirties.
