The Polar Vortex may be old news, but that doesn't mean that most of the country isn't still in the throes of a deep freeze (except for those lucky enough to live in LA). Why not warm up in all this cold weather with a delicious hot toddy cocktail? Basil Hayden's® Bourbon has created the perfect warm winter treat that combines sweet honey with cinnamon and citrus flavors and is guaranteed to combat the that ice cold wind and snow.

Basil Hayden’s Super-Premium bourbon sets itself apart from other bourbons with its trademark spicy, warm finish. Made using twice as much rye as traditional bourbons, its unique flavor is derived from a family recipe that dates back to 1796 and mixes the spiciness of rye with the smoothness of corn.

“Artfully” aged in new charred American white oak barrels, then charcoal-filtered and chill-filtered for an incredibly approachable, sophisticated and luxurious bourbon. With a relatively mild 80 proof it is equally enjoyable neat or as a the base to a contemporary or traditional cocktail.

Basil Hayden’s is one of the Super-Premium bourbons credited with driving growth in the high-end bourbon category, a category that continues to grow at a faster pace today than other bourbon categories. A 750ml bottle retails for about $36.99.

Grab the Basil Hayden’s, find a cozy fireplace or space-heater, and enjoy this blood-warming recipe:
