High pressure off the Mid Atlantic coast will continue to support a strengthening southwesterly wind and a steady increase in cloud cover through tomorrow as temperatures remain above normal.
Scattered cloud cover can be expected through this evening with winds from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Cloud cover will increase towards morning and then become scattered tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the upper 40's to lower 50's over the interior and lower to mid 50's along the coast by this afternoon. Tonight temperatures will fall into the upper 20's to lower 30's over the interior and mid 30's along the coast for lows by tomorrow morning. Temperatures will rebound into the lower to mid 40's throughout the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas tomorrow afternoon.
An of low pressure over Texas this morning will produce scattered showers on Friday as a warm front lifts north through the region. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 30's for lows and mid to upper 40's for highs.
Scattered clouds and the threat for showers will linger for Saturday and Sunday as very mild air takes hold. Temperatures will average 15 to 20 degrees above normal with lows in the upper 30's to lower 40's and highs in the mid to upper 50's for both days.
A powerful cold front will follow on Monday with periods of rain and mild temperatures ahead of the cold front. Temperatures will remain mild with lows in the upper 30's to lower 40's and highs in the mid to upper 50's. The cold front will sink south on Tuesday with the threat for rain and some snow, although no accumulation is expected. Temperatures will fall through the 50's, 40's and 30's through the day as the cold front bleeds south.
