Not only will we be treated to the Warlords of Draenor opening cinematic, but there's a plethora of other reasons why you are going to want to attend this highly anticipated event.
Streaming live from the Ace Theatre in Los Angeles, Blizzard’s Mike Morhaime, Chris Metzen, and World of Warcraft designers Ion Hazzikostas and Brian Holinka will be present for the cinematic unveiling. The reveal event also includes the release date announcement for the Warlords of Draenor expansion.
And it doesn't stop there. Afterwards, Blizzard will be going all out with live interviews with World of Warcraft developers and the debut the first episode of Lords of War, an all-new animated mini-series about the lore of World of Warcraft.
Hopefully this event means we will also see an announcement for the physical collector's edition of the expansion. Truth be told, that's the only thing has prevented me from upgrading my World of Warcraft account to the Warlords of Draenor digital deluxe version. Despite really wanting to instantly upgrade a character to the level cap, I can't justify buying the expansion twice just to pretty up my shelf.
Those of you in the L.A. area will be able to attend the live event at the Ace Theatre, although seating will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to get there early. Doors open at 8:30, and the aforementioned will receive beta keys to the expansion for attending.
As for everyone else, the event will be live-streamed on WorldofWarcraft.com.
