Warden Aquarium opening at Arizona Sonora Desert Museum (Video)

The Warden Aquarium is a new permanent area opening at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum on Saturday, January 5, 2013. The aquarium is included with the admission price for the desert museum, but viewing time passes will be distributed to avoid overcrowding. The passes can be obtained for free on a first-come first-serve basis upon arrival or you can reserve them for a fee here.

The Warden Aquarium features the Rivers of the Sea exhibit. The exhibit focuses on the role of rivers and other water features in the southwest including the Colorado River and the Gulf of California. Different parts of the exhibit will feature freshwater rivers with their aquatic life and Sea of Cortez aquatic life.
