War Machine continues to elude Dog the Bounty Hunter and Las Vegas police

According to an Aug. 14 report from the Chicago Tribune, world-renowned bounty hunter Duane Chapman, who is well-known by his television moniker as Dog the Bounty Hunter, is hot on the trail of former Bellator MMA fighter War Machine. Dog the Bounty Hunter has been trying to capture and arrest War Machine for over 24 hours, but so far he has not been successful. War Machine has been able to elude Las Vegas police for a full week, and he also hasn't been found by Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Here's what we know so far: Dog the Bounty Hunter told MMA Mania on Aug. 12 that he was close to finding War Machine and bringing him to justice, but it appears he was just blowing smoke. Two days after that report came out, Dog the Bounty Hunter hasn't been able to catch War Machine and no one else can seem to locate the former Bellator star. Time will tell how the situation plays out, but the entire ordeal just gets more complicated as the days go on. It seems quite bizarre that not a single person has spotted War Machine, since his last sighting on Aug. 8 in Las Vegas.

Dog the Bounty Hunter hasn't had many tips to work with, since just about everyone has remained silent about the fighter's whereabouts. Why is War Machine being sought after? War Machine has been running from police since being involved in a three-person altercation in Las Vegas on the evening of Aug. 8, that left two people hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Critically-acclaimed film star, Christy Mack, was severely beaten during the attack, and she alleges that her injuries were caused by War Machine.

Mack, 23, says she was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, after being beaten to a pulp by War Machine. Mack released a statement on Twitter, explaining that she has multiple broken bones in her face, a ruptured liver and a slew of other injuries. Mack posted photos of her injuries, and it was clear her lips were swollen and that she lost several teeth in the attack.

So far, only Mack told her official side of the story. According to her statement, War Machine became enraged after finding her with hanging out with VH1 reality show star, Corey Thomas, late in the evening at her Las Vegas home. Mack said War Machine started throwing punches at her and the man, without saying a word.

Thomas hasn't released an official statement on the matter, and neither has War Machine. There are three sides to the story, one from Mack, one from Machine and another from Thomas. The truth about what really happened on the night of Aug. 8 is probably something that is a combination of all three stories. Police will be investigating in the days and weeks ahead, to try to figure out what actually happened that evening.
