War drills begin in South Korea today
Today, Sunday both the US and South Korea have started their military naval drills. These are taking place on the Yellow Sea.
This move is designed to be a "deterrence" to North Korea who fired on South Korea this week, killing both marines and civilians.
The US has sent the nuclear-powered USS George Washington with 75 fighter jets to the Yellow Sea for the task.
The Pentagon has stated that this move is "defensive in nature."
North Korea has now issued a warning to both South Korea and the US saying that if the US continues to use its ships in the Yellow Sea, North Korea will not be able to "predict the consequences."
South Korea, while expecting the worst is now increasing its military defense power as it prepares for another attack from North Korea.
