Wanted: religious-left, fiscally conservative Democrat for EP School Board

Since a religious-left, fiscally conservative Democrat doesn’t exist, let’s find a real conservative for the position.

With the resignation of newly elected Christie Adams on November 25, 2013, there is a position open on the Estes Park School Board. That position will be filled by someone who applies and is chosen by the current school board.

BOE Vice President Cody Walker said, “my agenda is to get the community involved in the process so that we can have a school system that is fully supported by the public.”

Do you know someone who wants to:

1. Meet the public on their own terms

2. Show how a great school benefits every voter in the community, even if we have to change what the school does

3. Redefine success for every student, making sure higher education isn’t the only test for success

If you know of anyone who fits the bill and wants to volunteer for the Estes Park School Board contact me, MichelleHurni@reagan.com. Applications are due by December 7, 2013.
