In regard to our previous story about lack of defense against CPS cases, we offer the following-
We check the AFRA web stats often to see what people are looking for when they search the web for information about their CPS cases.
We note that one of the most popular search criteria they use is along the line of "need lawyer to fight cps".
For years, we have maintained a list of lawyers who have contacted us expressing interest in being listed as specializing in child welfare defense cases.
We also link to our long-time friend Linda Martin's "Fight CPS" site, where she started a Lawyers who take CPS defense cases page, and we note quite a few lawyers did offer their services.
It seems that it might be a great idea to offer a place for lawyers to list their availability and desire to take cases here at AFRA.
Please! We want to hear from LAWYERS ONLY. We don't want references to lawyers and websites. We want to hear only the lawyers themselves authorizing their listing and what they would like their listings to say.
So, if you are a lawyer experienced in defending people who are accused by CPS, who would like to be listed on this page,please let Leonard Henderson know.
Our listing of lawyers will be a service to both the lawyers and potential clients who might contact them.

My wife and I recently had our parental rights terminated, even though we had attorneys representing us. The judge claims that because my wife smoked some marijuana that neither she or I should have custody of our two young daughters, ages 8 and 6. They are trying to place them up for adoption, but I am filing an appeal on the judge's ruling. What I need is an attorney who will fight for my rights as a parent, even though my wife and I are separated. Please note that the court will not recognize our separation, even though I got up on the witness stand and stated so under oath. She claimed that because we were still wearing our wedding bands that she did not believe me. Well we are not divorced as of yet., just separated until my wife and prove her ability not to smoke any illegal drug like marijuana. Please help me ASAP as I don't know what to do anymore. just had my 4 young children ages 5,3,2,6mths removed because my husband and I were having some marital problems cps got called and said if we had any contact the children were removed my husband came over for my sons 5th bday police showed he was arrested for violating a p.o. and the children were removed looking for a good lawyer in southern indiana or northern kentucky. Have money just need help finding someone to fight these idiotic morons
