What are Foster Pet Parents? Heroes!
These individuals save pet lives. They open their hearts and homes to assist a pet who is unable to handle living in a shelter or requiring special attention. By taking in a pet for an hour, a weekend, a month or longer Foster Pet Parents allow a pet’s personality to shine.
Ronda and Bailey, a mother and daughter, foster bottle baby kittens for Austin Humane Society. Of course, dad and sons contribute to the socialization of these innocent creatures. By having an extra bathroom, you can provide housing for kittens. As we all know, dogs enjoy running in a properly fenced backyard. Each rescue group provides support but you need to research the groups to ensure the perfect match. Some rescue groups will provide training, food, bedding and veterinarian services while others may offer training and veterinarian services to the foster pet.
