The May R-CATS volunteer meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, at 6:30pm at Rome City Hall in the Caucus Room. The cat welfare group's mission is the humane approach to community cat population management in the Rome area through Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return (TNVR).

R-CATS especially needs additional assistance with its TNVR efforts, including with trapping, transporting and recovering cats, as well as fostering adoptable cats and kittens encountered during this work.

Representatives will also accept returnable bottles and cans at this meeting, as they can redeem them for 6 cents each to help fund their TNVR work, as well as donations of dry or canned food to help feed foster cats.
