Want 50GB Of Free Online Storage?

Owners of an LG-manufactured handset are now able to sign up to cloud storage provider Box.net for a free 50gb account. That's right, 50gb of free online storage as long as you sign up through the Box.net mobile app, which is also available for free through the Android Market. Even phones branded under different names, like the T-Mobile G2x, are eligible.

Box.net is similar to other popular storage providers like Dropbox in that it allows you to upload files to a secure server and access them wherever there's an Internet connection. You can also share files with other Box.net users. However, their business model is slightly different, focusing on business users instead of the Average Joe-type of consumer. Still, you don't need to do anything fancy to get an account, just sign up via the mobile app on your LG device and you now have 50GB of space.
