Are you desperately searching for an Anna or Elsa doll? Does your little princess plead for an authentic Frozen dress? Are you tired of your plain Magic Band and thinking of swapping it out for one adorned with Olaf, or would you like the famous snowman on your t-shirt? You can fulfill those desires and many more at Wandering Oaken's Trading Post, which has wandering into Disney's Hollywood Studios until September 1.
The trading post is part of the park's Frozen Summer event, which takes place daily and is included in your regular ticket price (you can get a package with some nice perks and a dessert party for an additional cost, and there's also a skating rink that will run you a bit extra). However, if you head into Oaken's and you're a Frozen fan, be prepared to spend big bucks.
I managed to limit myself to just getting an Elsa Magic Band (I already had an Olaf t-shirt), but you can get books, lithographs, toys, and just about every other type of Frozen souvenir you can imagine. Click the slideshow accompanying this article to see some of the merchandise. You'll find it by heading through the Pixar area and keeping an eye out for the trading post on your right.
You can't stock up madly on any one particular item, as there's a limit of five. Also, if you buy a Magic Band, be prepared to produce your ticket so it can be immediately linked. Checkout goes surprisingly fast since there's a whole bank of cash registers ready to ring up the queued-up crowd.
I recommend visiting early in the day, as Wandering Oaken's Trading Post gets progressively more crowded. However, it might be better to brave the crowd later rather than walk around all day with bulging bags. If you're staying at a Disney resort, you can take advantage of hotel delivery so you don't have to dealing with juggling the bags all day yourself.
You can also buy Frozen themed treats in the trading post and at many other locations around the park. Go to this article to see some of them. Don't forget to stop at Wandering Oaken's Frozen Funland, which is right next door to the trading post. Jump to this article to peek inside at the ice and snow.
