With summer coming to a close and the season that is four letters long and starts with "F" is near. Celebrate what is left of our Wisconsin summer days and nights by checking out the Walworth County Fair in Elkhorn. The fair kicked off August 27th with a Big Hat Rodeo and tractor pull. The fair's entertainment starts tomorrow evening with country superstar and NBC's "The Apprentice" winner Trace Adkins on August 29th at 7:30pm. Adkins, who's country hits have landed him at Billboard's #1 spot three times, is known for his high energy shows and a distinctive baritone voice.
Keeping it country on August 30th is vocal group Little Big Town. The group is riding the wave of success after their first #1 hit "Pontoon" from 2012. Since then the group has gone on to tour with country heavy hitters Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban. Little Big Town will be releasing their latest album, "Pain Killer", on October 21st with the lead single, "Day Drinking" climbing the charts. Check them out on the main stage at 7:30pm.
Foreigner will close out the fair August 31th at 7:30pm with local NBC's "The Voice" contestant Megan Ruger opening. Foreigner, formed in 1976, found success with their hit singles, "Feels Like The First Time", "Hot Blooded", "Double Vision", and "Urgent". Twin Lakes native Megan Ruger was a contestant on last season's "The Voice" and was eliminated in the battle rounds. Ruger now calls Nashville, TN home and is accepting pre-orders for her new EP "Black Dress" on her website.
