What time does the race start ?
Both the 10K and 5K races will begin at 8AM on Saturday, March 29th, 2014. The Kiddie Fun Run will begin at 9:30AM within the Expo.

Is this event timed ? RaceWire is our timing company and each bib will have a chip embedded. No need to tie the chip to your shoe. You will receive your chip-timed bib at packet pick-up! Race results will be posted within the Expo and at RaceWire's website after our event. Will there be water stations and mile markers on the course ? Absolutely! Water stations will be visible along the course and at the finish line, and we will have mile markers at each mile.

Can I run or walk with family and friends ?
Yes, we encourage friends and family members to start a team and run or walk together! Just remember we are all sharing the course. If you will be walking as a group, please walk along the side of the road to allow the faster runners to get through.

Are dogs allowed at this event ?
No. As much as we love dogs, we ask that you leave your pet at home. We are not allowed to bring pets onto the CBS Studio Backlot.

Can I bring a friend or family member with me to cheer me on ?
Please do! We all need that cheer squad to get us to the finish line! However, we ask that all spectators stay along Colfax Ave or Sarah Street and not enter CBS Studios. The Backlot is reserved for our runners and walkers.

Will you be handing out awards ?Yep! We will have an awards ceremony for the top three Male and Female Finishers in each age division for both the 10K and 5K. We will also have an award for Overall Male and Female Winners in the 10K and 5K.

What do I get when I fundraise ? Glad you asked! For every $100 raised, you will receive a $20 gift card from Sport's Authority or Trader Joe's! For example, if you raise $1,000, you will receive $200 in gift cards. You can use them for yourself or give them away as a gift. Please note: gift cards are awarded in increments of $100 fundraising levels only. So, if you raise $200, you will receive $40 in gift cards but if you raise $175, you will only receive a $20 gift card. Gift cards will be distributed at Packet Pick-up on Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th ONLY. The deadline for gift card eligibility is Friday, March 28th at 6PM.

Can I still fundraise beyond the March 28th deadline ?
Friends of Reed is happy to accept donations all year long on your behalf! However, meeting the fundraising incentive for your free gift cards ends at 6PM on Friday, March 28th.
