Walter Hawkins funeral video - real one, not fakes on YouTube.com
It's disheartening to see all the fake videos being uploaded on YouTube.com and other sites that are tagged "Walter Hawkins funeral" and such.
Many of them are fakes trying to entice folks to click off to other sites probably containing malware or Lord knows what.
The only real videos of Walter Hawkins' amazing, over 3-hour long funeral on Wednesday are this one of the beginning, wherein a letter from President Obama was read.
(And then there's a news video of the memorial service held the night prior to the funeral here.)
Since KTVU.com looks like one of the first sites to bring us the videos -- they streamed the whole funeral live on Wednesday -- this is how we can find all the videos they post:
Copy and paste or type "Walter Hawkins" site:http://www.ktvu.com/video into Google to find them all.
"Hold on, old soldier!" Walter Hawkins counseled a crack-addicted pastor whom Bishop Hawkins sent for and ministered to for a week...

The funeral was amazing -- with one pastor talking about his favorite Walter Hawkins memory being when the Bishop paid out of his pocket for a plane ticket to bring the "old soldier" pastor addicted to crack cocaine out to him -- and though Hawkins didn't really know the man, Bishop Walter Hawkins ministered to him for a whole week, telling him "Hold on old soldier."
That testimony made me and many others cry, I could tell from watching the streaming video. It was a long funeral and Holy Spirit-filled, it seemed, even via video.
The bishop who gave the eulogy brought his oil and anointed Walter Hawkins son -- who also spoke -- and the bishop told his son that he's not ready yet, but in one year, if he seeks God's face the way his father did, he may be.
There are a couple of audio videos from YouTube.com from Walter Hawkins' funeral posted below, and we can keep checking YouTube.com here for the Walter Hawkins funeral videos, but wade through the crap tagged with the wrong stuff -- and stay away from the sites trying to get you to click off onto other sites.
