Princess Fairytale Hall will be the place for Disney guests to meet Cinderella and Rapunzel, as well as visiting princesses. It is located in the Castle Courtyard, in the space Snow White’s Scary Adventures used to occupy, and is the latest attraction to open as part of New Fantasyland.
Cinderella and Rapunzel are the primary princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall. Each has her own queue and will be joined with a visiting princess. Visiting royalty include Aurora, Snow White, Tiana, Jasmine or Mulan. Guests can check with the Magic Kingdom’s Times Guide or use My Disney Experience mobile app for information about which princesses are visiting when.
The design for the Disney Princess meet-and-greet is “fit for a princess.” The exterior feature a tournament tent façade, stone walls and stained-glass windows. The entryway leads to a Royal Gallery of portraits of Disney Princess, where Disney guests wait before meeting the characters.
The royal chambers, one each for Cinderella and Rapunzel offers a picturesque backdrop for the meet-and-greet. Each reception area has a framed painting featuring a fairytale landscape, leather storybooks, and details that identify Princess Fairytale Hall as the home to Disney royalty and which pay tribute to Disney’s long association with fairy tales.
Princess Fairytale Hall will function like other Disney meet-and-greet areas. Guests will be able to have their pictures taken with the characters – they may use their own cameras and Disney PhotoPass photographers will be present – and collect autographs and hugs. Each princess queue will also have Legacy FastPass and FastPass+ options in addition to standby lines.
Once Princess Fairytale Hall opens, Disney Princesses will no longer appear at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom’s Main Street, U.S.A. Mickey Mouse will continue to appear in that location.
