Many returning Walt Disney World Resort guests have a favorite ride or spot that they can't wait to visit. I remember one year my son had just seen the Pirates of the Caribbean and that ride in Magic Kingdom was to be a highlight of the trip. Thank goodness for park hoppers because when we arrived at Magic Kingdom and walked through to Adventureland we found the Pirates of the Caribbean ride closed for a 1 day refurbishment. My advice if you have a place you are really looking forward to seeing whether it be a ride, a pool or restaurant call your travel agent and have them check the refurbishment list to make sure it will not be closed during your trip.
