Monday, September 2, 2013 is Labor Day in the United States. It is considered by many to be the unofficial end of summer. It is a popular day at Walt Disney World so if you are planning go, arrive early. Both tourists and locals will fill the parks on Labor Day.
On September 2, the Magic Kingdom will open at 9:00am, and will remain open until 10:00pm. Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade will run at 3:00pm. Main Street Electrical Parade will be held at 9:00pm. The night will end with the fireworks show Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, which will be held at 10:00pm.
Epcot will stick it its normal operating hours on Labor Day, opening at 9:00am and closing 12 hours later. World Showcase will open at 11:00am. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, will close out the holiday at 9:00pm.
Disney's Hollywood Studios will open at 9:00am on Labor Day. It will close to the general public at 10:00pm, and will then have two Extra Magic Hours for Disney resort guests, from 10:00pm-midnight. There will be two showings of Fantasmic!, one at 8:30pm and the other at 10:00pm.
At Disney's Animal Kingdom, there will be an Extra Magic Hour on September 2 at 8:00am. The park will open to everyone else at 9:00am, and remain open until 6:00pm. Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade will run at 3:45pm.
