Christmas Day will be packed at Walt Disney World in Florida. Give yourself plenty of time and arrive early. Expect long lines. Sometimes the Magic Kingdom will reach capacity on a holiday, so if that's where you're headed have another park in mind, just in case.
On Wednesday, December 25, the Magic Kingdom will hold an Extra Magic Hour for Disney Resort guests at 7:00am. The park will open to the public at 8:00am, and will remain open until 1:00am. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will take place at 12:30pm and again at 3:30pm. Main Street Electrical Parade will take place at 9:00pm and at 11:00pm. Celebrate The Magic will take place on Cinderella Castle at 9:45 pm and at 10:35pm. Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season will light up the skies above the Magic Kingdom at 10:00pm.
Epcot will open at 8:00am on Christmas Day, with World Showcase opening three hours later. The Candlelight Processional will be held at 5:00pm, 6:45pm, and 8:15pm. Award winning Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman is the scheduled celebrity narrator. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will take place when the park closes at 9:30pm.
On Christmas Day Disney's Hollywood Studios will be open 8:00am-10:00pm. It will remain open until midnight for Disney Resort Guests. There will be three showings of Fantasmic!. They will take place at 6:30pm, 8:00pm, and 10:00pm.
