On May 21, Disney Parks Blog announced official 2010 dates and prices for its annual holiday celebration, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Disney’s Magic Kingdom becomes extra magical during the holidays, as it hosts the annual Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP). This Walt Disney World celebration held on select nights in Nov. and Dec., offers guests the opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the season with live entertainment, a holiday parade entitled "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime," special fireworks, and holiday touches – all in addition to Disney’s popular attractions.
MVMCP is a separate-ticket event, which means the party takes place after the Magic Kingdom closes and requires its own admission ticket. (Regular Magic Kingdom theme park admission tickets or passes will not allow guests to attend the event.)

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party park hours and procedures
MVMCP takes place on select nights between 7:00 p.m. and 12:30 am., the time period after the Magic Kingdom closes to the general public.
Guests with MVMCP tickets are generally allowed to enter the park early, at around 4 p.m. Magic Kingdom guests who attend MVMCP will need to wear special wristbands to stay in the park when it closes. Cast members will direct guests who are already in the park, and who possess MVMCP tickets, to various locations where they may pick up wristbands for the event.
Note: Guests who wish to see the holiday-themed parade and fireworks between Nov. 8 – Dec. 19 must attend MVMCP; these versions of the parade and fireworks will be shown during regular Magic Kingdom hours Dec. 20 – Dec 30, 2010.
2010 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates and prices:
- November 8, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 28, and 30
- December 2, 3, 5, 7,* 9,* 10,* 12,* 14, 16, 17,* and 19*
*Advance-ticket prices not available on these dates.
- Advance Tickets: $53.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $47.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9)
- Day-of-Event Tickets (if available): $59.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $53.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9)
- Premium Event Tickets (Dec. 7, 10, 12, 17, 19): $59.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $53.95 plus tax (ages 3-9) [Advance purchase price or discount tickets are not available on these dates.]
- Annual Passholder and DVC Member Tickets: $49.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $43.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9) [Discounts aren’t available on all nights.]
Walt Disney World guests who wish to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party should purchase their tickets early, as many of the event dates sell out – especially those closer to the holiday season.
