On April 29, Disney officially released dates and prices for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Walt Disney World’s annual Halloween bash. Tickets for the fall event are on sale now.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a special themed event that takes place in the Magic Kingdom after the park closes. This separate-ticket event, which is not included with standard admission to the them park, is held between 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. on select dates in Sept. – Nov. 2010.

In addition to Halloween decor, parades, fireworks, live shows and dance parties, MNSSHP offers the opportunity to trick-or-treat throughout the park. In between these not-so-scary treats, Disney guests may also ride many of Magic Kingdom's most popular attractions.

Note that guests of all ages are welcome to dress in Halloween costumes – Disney friendly, please – and trick or treat their way around the park. Adult uests may appears as their favorite Disney character or princess, but should not represent themselves as an official Disney character; they may not sign autographs, for instance, or take pictures with other guests.

2010 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates and prices
Advance purchase for MNSSHP is recommended as many dates sell out early, and there are a limited number of dates available for each event.
2010 MNSSHP Dates:
- Sept. 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28 and 30
- Oct. 1, 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, and 31
- Nov. 1
2010 MNSSHP Prices:
- Advance Tickets: $53.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $47.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9)
- Day-of-Event Tickets: $59.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $53.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9)
- Annual Passholder and DVC Member Tickets: $49.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $43.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9)
Note: Advance purchase prices or AP/DVC Member discounts are not available for the following dates, and these prices apply:
- Premium Tickets (Oct. 8, 22, 28): $59.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $49.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9)
- Halloween Weekend Tickets (Oct. 31 and Nov. 1): $64.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), 58.95 plus tax (ages 3 – 9)
2010 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Partyat the Magic Kingdom is a frightfully good time – but without the fright. MNSSHP tickets can be ordered in advance by calling 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) or by ordering through Walt Disney World online ticket sales.
Disneyland guests may also be interested in 2010 Mickey's Halloween Party, the Anaheim version of Disney's after-hours holiday event.

Any idea what the medal looks like
I've not seen any images of the 5K or Half medal yet Disney tends to keep designs, especially inaugural medals under wraps. But medals for other Disney 5K have tended to be made of plastic and to be several inches in diameter (approximately the size of Disney medals for other races).
