For Disney guests and Star Wars fans seeking more than just a taste of their two favorite universes, Walt Disney World (WDW) has added two new dining experiences for Star Wars Weekends. The Star Wars Weekends dining experiences may be booked beginning today, March 26.
These “Star Wars” character dining meals, available for a limited time, run from May 4 to June 15. Both dining experiences take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the WDW theme park that is home to Star Wars Weekends (SWW). SWW takes place weekends, Friday through Sunday, from May 16 – June 14.
Note that character dining experiences may be booked during the week as well as during Star Wars Weekends.

Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater really embraces its theming to showcase a galaxy far, far away for this character dining experience, transforming itself into the Star War Dine-in Theater. Characters who will appear include Stormtroopers, Jawa, Greedo, and Boba Fett. A highlight off the breakfast will be a Darth Vader Meet & Greet after check-in. In keeping with the theming, Sci-Fi Dine-In’s classic B-movie clips will be replaced with “Star Wars” clips, trailers and music.
Dates: May 4 - June 15, 2014
Times: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Prices: Adult - $47.99; Child - $29.99
Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast also includes a digital photo of the party on a commemorative PhotoPass card.
Disney guests new to SWW should know that “Star Wars” characters, and Disney characters dressed in costumes inspired by “Star Wars” characters, do appear at other places within Disney’s Hollywood Studios during SWW. That said, these special dining experiences provide guests the chance to meet many characters in one place and may be a value for Disney guests looking for the convenience or to maximize their time during the busy SWW.
The new SWW dining experiences is the latest announcement about the 2014 event. Walt Disney World has previously announced the addition of a fifth Star Wars Weekend to the popular fan event as well as the addition of “Symphony in the Stars,” the “Star Wars”-themed fireworks to take place nightly during the event. Rebel Rendezvous, a separate-ticket merchandising event, will take place May 15. Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the original “Star Wars” trilogy, will also be a guest celebrity during the fourth SWW, from June 6 – 8.
Star Wars Weekends is included with Walt Disney World Resort theme-park admission.
